Blain has a long history as an award-winning photographer for media & marketing of largescale architecture & intimate hotel interiors - to creative industries of product + fashion + people shots – and as a Senior Lecturer in Photography.  

Blain has a passion for buildings, landscapes and observations of the ever changing shapes of the Natural and built World - and an observer of life, living and being, and through experience and maturity has developed a unique view of the World.
He has been in the business of creating professional and memorable images for over 20 years, capturing and recording their beauty and purpose for advertising and marketing purposes, for clients such as architects, interior designers, landscape designers, hotels, commercial real estate, developers and charities across Australia, South East Asia, Northern Asia. 10 of those years in mainland China.

ONE favorite project I worked on was ….. “Was the portrait of Cathy Freeman. What an Australian icon & gem to work with. Capturing this magic moment. And Another was for Peddle Thorpe Architects in China- massive projects shot in both day & night lighting used in media & marketing. So so many projects and people. I love it.
